Hello! Thanks for your interest in consigning. We are excited you trust us to sell your items.

Our new storefront at 1808 Government Street is now open and because of the overwhelming response you need to check our website to see if appointment and/or walk-ins are open, or limited to specific items.

Please make sure your items are in a container/reusable bag we can keep (if you want your container back let us know) and your name is clearly marked on each one. Do NOT bring your items in a soft plastic bag (like a garbage bag).

Come up to the inventory desk (near change rooms at the back of the shop) and let us know you have a consignment drop-off, then give us 5-20 minutes to go through your items. Give us a bit of space—we’ll let you know how much time we need. Sometimes we might not be able to accept walk-in drop-offs, so please be patient with us.

Be mindful of the number of items you bring—please curate your drop-off. Make sure all items are in excellent condition and in style. For consignment we do NOT accept skinny jeans, SHEIN, items with pilling, anything stained, cold shoulder items, polyester patterned pieces, items with pet hair, items with odors, anything damp, clothing you wore from 2005-2017, or anything damaged.

What we love are items made from natural fabrics, classic cuts (straight or wide-leg pants), and of course vintage. All items MUST fit bodies that are XL or larger. You can check out our Pinterest for inspiration (but it’s not comprehensive—just a vibe)! Just a heads up—we might reject some or all of what you bring in. Maybe because we have enough of the size, maybe because it’s out of style or isn’t in good enough condition (we won’t give a detailed reason—just know it’s not personal).

We love receiving brands that you typically find only online, like Anthropologie, Nettles Tale, Lucy and Yak, etc. That doesn’t mean we won’t accept “regular” brands like Old Navy, but they have lower priority depending on what’s already in the shop.

If you’re interested in real-time updates on the status of your items—feel free to register with our consignment software here: https://shopfatsisters.com/apps/vendor-portal/login. NOTE—you will not have access until after we inventory and upload your items into our system (which may take 1–10 days after your drop-off). If you see a “vendor not found” message, we are likely the bottleneck. If after 10 days you still don’t have access, send us an email at hello@shopfatsisters.com to double-check.
